1. Characteristics: Iron oxide pigments are resistant to strong eye exposure, atmospheric influences, and resistant to fouling gases (such as hydrogen sulfide, etc.).
Sensing effect, strong hiding power and coloring power.
2. Uses: Suitable for coloring and protecting substances of various coatings. Such as alkyd resins, amino alkyds, perchloroethylene resins, polyurethanes, nitros, polyester paints, etc.
In addition, it is also suitable for electrophoretic paint. Low paint, magnetic paint, pencil paint, blending paint, baking paint, anti-rust paint, floor paint, waterline paint, etc. It can also be used in water-based coatings, powder coatings and plastic coatings.
And used in toy paint, decorative paint, furniture paint, house paint, garage paint, parking lot paint, car paint and so on.
3. Method of use: Generally divided into three steps: wetting, grinding and dispersion (paint adjustment). Iron oxide pigments, paints, and fillers are mixed in a batching tank to form a coarse color paste. Different grinding equipment is used according to the different viscosity obtained by adding the solvent. The pulp can be ground with an efficient sand mill (vertical or horizontal) or a ball mill. The primer is generally about 50 microns, and the topcoat is required to be about 40 microns. Then add the tree moon purpose, dry materials, solvents, etc. to adjust the paint dispersion, color matching, viscosity adjustment, etc. in the paint mixing tank, and finally pass. Filter and finished product packaging.
4. Application: Iron oxide pigments have good weather resistance, high purity, good thermal stability, good compatibility with other ingredients in the application system, can absorb ultraviolet rays, prevent degradation of the base material, and have low cost. Can be widely used in coatings. Because of its strong hiding power, it has a strong impermeability to ultraviolet rays and a small water absorption. It can enhance the mechanical strength of the paint film, especially its excellent characteristics in terms of adhesion. Other anti-rust pigments Such as red lead oxide, zinc yellow and other mixed use, can enhance the paint film stability and mechanical strength, is now widely used in various outdoor paints, traffic paints, metal antirust primers and topcoats. Iron oxide pigments used in paints include iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, iron oxide brown, iron oxide black, iron oxide green, mica iron oxide, and transparent iron oxide products. Among them, iron red products are widely used in large quantities. Permeable iron is most suitable for automotive finishes, wood coloring, can coatings, and pharmaceutical packaging coloring.
