How to use iron oxide on paint?

Iron oxide is used for dyeing and protecting objects of various paints. Such as alkyd resins, amino alkyds, perchloroethylene resins, polyurethanes, nitros, polyester paints, etc.

In addition, it is also used in electrophoretic paint. Primer, magnetic paint, pencil paint, blending paint, baking paint, anti-rust paint, floor paint, waterline paint, etc. It can also be used in water-based coatings, powder coatings and plastic coatings.

And used for finishing paint, packaging paint, furniture paint, house paint, garage paint, parking lot paint, car surface paint and so on.

Application method:

Generally, it is divided into three steps: moistening, grinding and dismantling (paint adjustment). Iron oxide dyes, paints, and supplements are mixed in the batching tank to form coarse-colored paddles, and different grinding facilities are used according to the different viscosities obtained by adding the amount of flux. For example, thick paddles can be finely rolled with a three-roller machine. The thin paddle can be ground with an efficient sand mill (vertical or horizontal) or a ball mill. The primer is usually around 50 microns, and the topcoat is required around 40 microns. Then add the moon, purpose, dry material, flux, etc. in the paint mixing tank to carry out paint dismantling, color matching, viscosity adjustment, etc., and finally pass. Product packaging.

Application:

Iron oxide red has very, very good weather resistance, high purity, good thermal stability, good compatibility with other components in the application system, can absorb ultraviolet rays, degrade the embankment base material, and has low cost. Deeply used in paint lacquer. Due to its strong hiding power, it has a strong impermeability to ultraviolet rays and a very, very small water absorption. It can enhance the machine strength of the paint film, especially the high-quality properties in terms of dedication, and other rust prevention. Dyes such as red dan and zinc yellow are used in combination to enhance the stability of the paint film and the intensity of the machine. It is now deeply used in various outdoor paints, traffic paints, metal antirust primers and topcoats. Iron oxide used in paint lacquer include iron oxide blue, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, iron oxide brown, iron oxide black, iron oxide green, Micaceous iron oxide, and transparent iron oxide. Among them, iron oxide red 130 and iron oxide yellow 313, iron oxide yellow 920 products are large in quantity and wide in scope. Permeable iron is most suitable for automotive finishes, firewood dyeing, can coatings, and pharmaceutical packaging packaging dyeing.
